I’ve been thinking about ponchos lately. I even have a pattern that I’m going to try to release at the end of the month that’s a poncho. Have you seen the heart poncho over in the crochet gallery? Yeah, that one!

In the meantime here are a few poncho patterns, I’ll be sure to link the pattern to my heart poncho here when I publish it! 🙂

EDIT: Here’s the link to the Summertime Poncho pattern!

Granny Square Poncho by CrochetN'Crafts

This is a nice light poncho that would be perfect for wearing in warmer weather! I wonder if you could lengthen it somehow to make it a swimsuit cover up...

Fire and Ice Poncho by Lisa Gentry

This poncho uses Red Heart It's a Wrap Rainbow Yarn which is one of the most beautiful yarns I've come across, I mean look at those colors! And I love the lacy look of this pattern.

Minimalist Greyscale Poncho by Make & Do Crew

That pocket though <3. And that cowl neck, and the stitching, and the style, and... 😍😍😍

Simple Summer Poncho by CrochetN'Crafts

This is another lightweight poncho by Crochet N' Crafts; however this one is convertible and can be worn like a v-shaped poncho or a square one.

Sweet Martine by Drops Design

I love the granny squares in this poncho, and how simple yet elegant the design is overall. The flower designs give this poncho a springtime feel.
