The Elizabeth Cardigan was released as a crochet-a-long, and all parts are currently available. It is basically constructed out of a rectangle using the mini bean stitch (also called the Elizabeth stitch, hence the name of the cardigan) and then you add sleeves to it. The result is a drapey sweater!
I personally don’t like the way this cardigan drapes, I feel like mine came out more droopy than I was expecting. I like this pattern because it’s a “one size fits all” pattern; you use your body measurements to create the sweater to your liking. Ashlea states that you can also use pretty much any type of yarn for this pattern. If I make another one I’m going to use a lighter weight yarn, like Lion Brand Mandala.
I used ILTY in Moody Mosaic for this cardigan.
