Marijuana Leaf Beanie Pattern

I’ve wanted to make a few more of these graphed beanies; I started out with this skull beanie pattern a few months ago and got hooked!

(Pun intended)

I made this marijuana leaf beanie originally back in October for a friend’s birthday, but figured it’d be more appropriate around this time of year (y’know, with 4/20 haha). It took a little while to iron out the stitch counts to get everything on the pot leaf lined up, I swear every hat had different stitch counts! It was so worth it once it all came together though 🙂

I’ve been experimenting with turning rounds before starting the actual “graph” part; the grey beanie below was turned after each round and the black and multicolored ones are worked with the same side facing towards you until you start changing colors.

If you’re fairly new to crochet and don’t know how to change colors, don’t sweat it! I’ve got an article over here that explains how to change colors for these types of patterns.
