I am so ready for warmer weather! As I’m typing this it’s cold and snowy, and while we need the moisture, I’m wishing for flowers to bloom. It’s still pretty early in the year for anything even close to that though, so in the meantime I’ve been browsing crochet flower patterns. Here are some free ones that really jumped out at me, and I have a plan for these flowers in particular…

Crochet Flower Accent by Mimi Alelis

I love the dimesnion in these flowers. I'd bet they'd look great with a bright colored button in the middle. 🙂

Crochet 3D Tulip by Sascha van Wagtendonk

While the website is mainly in Dutch? I think? It also has English translations below (plus of course there's always Google Translate lol) and this pattern is written in English.
(For some reason this tulip reminds me of a wonton haha)

Easy Rose by Skip to My Lou

This is the flower that I crochet onto my Kerry Earwarmer Wraps when I want an accent on them. They are so easy and look great!

Snowball Mum by The Crafty Tipster

This is a really cool and floppy flower, I have yet to make one but I wonder how it would look on top of a beanie, like in place of a pom-pom...

Morning Glory by The Crafty Tipster

I know I just posted a pattern by The Crafty Tipster, but these flowers are just too cute! I love how Michele shows how these look with a single color and two different colors as well.

So remember how I said I had a plan for the flower patterns above? The plan includes this leaf patten below, and I will hopefully have it finished within the next week or so 🙂

Crochet Leaf Pattern by In The Yarn Garden

These leaves are simple yet elegant; they would look great in a crochet bouquet without detracting from the beauty of the flowers.
