Car Stuff

I just finished up a couple of big projects (another Painted Canyon Cardigan and a 12-point blanket and a neverending wildflower blanket, you can see some of them on my Instagram) and since the weather is starting to warm up I’ve been wanting to crochet smaller projects. I have a mission to yarn bomb everything, so I’ve looked at some crochet patterns for the car.

Here are my favorites that I’ve found!

Car Seat Cloak by Left in Knots

This is such a great design! It's especially handy because it's removable and makes it easier to keep kids warm as they go to and from the car.

Seat Belt Cover by Heart Hook Home

This is a great stash buster! It would take no time at all to whip one (or four?) of these up!

Seat Belt Cozy by Martha Winger

I like this seat belt cover as well because it's removable. Not only could you use it as a yarn scrap buster, but also as a button stash buster.

Flower Coasters by Simply Collectible Crochet

This was originally a pattern for a headband, but the designer shows how to use the flowers in other ways, like as coasters for your car! I never thought about this before!

American Car Tote Bag by Snappy Tots

I love this idea! You can use this bag as a garbage bag or a bag for toys or a first aid kit! And I like the Kleenex holder as well.
