Buffalo Plaid

Buffalo plaid is such a timeless look. And it’s become a lot more popular since Whistle and Ivy’s debut of their crochet buffalo plaid patterns. I wanted to find some nice cozy patterns to share with you this week. They’d make great Christmas presents, just saying…

Reversible Plaid Cowl by Rustic Stitches

You can technically wear this cowl in four different ways: you have the two different sides and then you can decide to wear it with a button (like it's shown above) or not. I like the idea of having a plain-colored side with a pop of plaid peeking out (yay alliteration!) and you don't have to make a buttonhole for the button. You just poke it through one of the dcs.

Buffalo Plaid Blanket by The Crochet Crowd

While this blanket is a buffalo plaid design, it looks different than other buffalo plaid. I like the stripes in this particular blanket. It kind of gives it a vintage feel.

Plaid Slouchy Hat by Whistle & Ivy

The post that started it all... this classic beanie has been seen all over the internet since it got posted. Whistle and Ivy's site has a bunch of great plaid patterns! And they all look so great. This beanie would look awesome with a fur pom-pom.

Plaid Trapper Hat by Lace Kennedy Crochet

This trapper hat is so cute! This pattern is written in child sizes, but you could adjust the stitches in each round to make it larger. I love the braids on the ends of the ear flaps.

Plaid Headband by Evelyn and Peter Crochet

This is another pattern that is written for child sizes, but it's easy to make it larger for adults! I love how this looks like a bow.
