If you haven’t noticed (especially on my Instagram page) I’ve been having lots of fun playing with textures. This week I wanted to share some textured blankets, specifically bobble stitch blankets. I love the bobble stitch! it kind of reminds me of popcorn (but it’s not to be confused with the popcorn stitch, they are two different stitches). I feel like if I had one of these blankets I would just squish the bobbles in my hand haha.
Not only does the design of this blanket satisfy the inner OCD person in me, but I also lovelovelove the ruffled edging on this blanket. There are also instructions for a flat border if you don't like the ruffing so much.
This blanket looks so squishy! I also like how the bobbles in in a chevron shape, it makes the blanket unique. I also like the border as well, becasue you can never have too many bobbles nad pom-poms! 🙂

I love the texture of this blanket! The bobbles on this one are a little smaller, but still noticeable. The border really ties the whole design together and I love the color changes.
The colorway of this particular blanket reminds me of neopolitan ice cream lol. I bet this would look beautiful in rainbow hues! The crossed double crochet stitching makes for a really cool texture.
I had to pick another blanket from Daisy Farm Crafts, I couldn't help myself! I absolutely adore the look of this blanket, the texture, the color scheme, it all comes together so nicely in this design.
