Basic Half Double Crochet Beanie Pattern

Pinnable image for the Half Double Crochet Beanie

The very first stitch I learned when I started to crochet was the half double crochet stitch. I love it because it doesn’t take as long as a single crochet stitch when making something, and it’s a tighter weave than the double crochet stitch. This beanie is a great beginner project and it is very quick to work up once you get the hang of it!
